Westminster Speaks - Truly Catholic
"Most Reformed people probably do not think of themselves as catholic. Now, there is a sense in which that is correct: if you are a member of the Reformed, then, by definition, you are not a member of the Roman Catholic Church...Yet there is also a sense in which Reformed people are catholics. To be catholic, after all, really only means to be part of the one great communion of saints, of all those who call upon Christ for salvation and who are entrusted with the faith once for all delivered to the saints..." Rev. Dr. Trueman, v.p. for academic affairs. Click Westminster Speaks. + FULL STORY

Faculty 'Must Reads'
"A must read for anyone who is interested in how culture affects the work of missions." Dr. John Leonard, associate professor of practical theology While the Gospel is timeless truth, it enters into ever-changing and widely varied human contexts. The missionary who desires to meaningfully communicate the Gospel to particular humans needs to understand people and the particular influences--social, cultural, psychological, and ecological--that shape them. Further, we must understand ourselves and the influences that have shaped us, since our own contexts influence how we understand and transmit the Gospel message.
