Global missions is at the heart of the Westminster community. Our faculty, alumni, and students diligently labor to spread the gospel across the globe and train disciples in Christ. We set aside time each year to gather and focus on this community value during our Missions Conference. This year the Westminster community had the special privilege of hearing from Tim Keesee, executive director of Frontline Missions International and executive producer of the acclaimed Dispatches from the Front film series.

CCEF and WTS have engaged in strategic planning, focusing on their respective missions, goals, and opportunities. What has emerged in our discussions is a vision for online education. CCEF and WTS are excited about these changes.

The United States Supreme Court has accepted for review Westminster Theological Seminary’s lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Supreme Court will render a decision by the end of the term (June 30, 2016).

Each year, Westminster Theological Seminary awards honorary doctorates to those who have made exceptional contributions in their fields of ministry and academics. The honorary doctorate recipients for 2016 will be Archbishop Dr. Glenn Davies and Dr. James W. Skillen.
