Westminster has 20 on-campus single- and double-occumpancy rooms for 15 men and five women. Rooms are assigned by the Student Development Office and, with the exception of resident assistant (RA), are available only to first-year, full-time students in degree programs. Priority will be given to students coming from great distances. The prices for the 2016-2017 school year are $1800/single/semester, $1200/double/semester, $450/single/month, and $300/shared/month. A semester is four months. Prices are subject to change.
Incoming students who want to reserve on-campus housing space must send a $250 on-campus housing deposit in the form of a check made out to "Westminster Theological Seminary" to the attention of the Student Deveopment Office after full admission has been granted. (For international students, full admission is attained upon the successful completion of the affidavit of support.) The on-campus housing deposit should accompany the completed on-campus housing application. (See link below.) This deposit is non-refundable, provided on-campus housing space is available. Space is awarded on a first-deposits-received basis.
After an incoming student submits an on-campus housing deposit with an on-campus housing application, he or she will receive notification from the Student Deveopment Office that the deposit and application have been received and that the student’s name has been placed on the on-campus housing waiting list. Once all on-campus housing applications and deposits have been received from incoming students, Student Deveopment will assign space, usually in April. By May 1, all incoming students will be notified, either confirming a space reservation and check-in times or explaining that no on-campus housing space is available and that off-campus housing will need to be secured. International students who are applying for on-campus housing are strongly encouraged to begin completing their affidavit of support very early in order to have a good standing on the waiting list. Click here for the Affidavit of Support form.
Westminster does not have a food service. Each on-campus resident is given full access to the residence kitchen and is responsible for his or her own meals and clean-up.
