A Praying Life
May 12, 2009
Paul Miller is the son of Dr. C. John "Jack" Miller who taught practical theology at Westminster, was Director of World Harvest Mission and founding pastor of New Life Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia. He is director of seeJesus.net, a discipling mission that develops interactive Bible studies. The PrayerLife Study and Seminar, which form the basis for the book A Praying Life, is the second curriculum released by seeJesus.net.
"But prayer isn’t meant to be a production or a problem. And God is here, now. Prayer is meant to be the conversation where your life and your God meet. Paul Miller understands that. A Praying Life aims to help you join him in living out that understanding. A praying life is an oddly normal way to live..."
- Dr. David Powlison, M.Div. '80, counselor and adjunct professor of practical theology
"It is the story of our struggle to actually live like we believe that our Heavenly Father really does love us..." - Rev. Paul David Tripp, D.Min. '88
