The demolition of the Carriage House front patio and library entrance will take place this week (8/12–8/16). Construction work on the library entrance will be completed in two phases, which will allow for continued access to the buildings. Please note that during this time, some sidewalks will be blocked off. Demolition on the two parking lots beside the Carriage House is also expected to begin this week. Tree removal will also continue this week. All areas of construction will be marked and fenced off. It is important to note for safety reasons that no one enters the marked off construction areas during this time.
A new policy for the parking lot behind the library will be in effect. Please note that all parking spots in the lot behind the library are now reserved for faculty and drivers who are 65 years and older. This parking lot will also include two temporary spots for library staff. The spaces will be clearly marked with signs. Eligible users will receive temporary dashboard place cards. The new parking policy will be enforced by the Physical Plant Department.
