A Degree Completion Worksheet (DCW) indicates all of the requirements necessary to complete a particular degree program and is designed to aid in student academic planning and advising. DCW's are not intended to replace a student's Academic Plan (in self service) or an official degree audit conducted by Registrar’s Office staff. Students and advisors should consult the Registrar’s Office if they discover any discrepancy between the requirements stated on a DCW and any other source (such as the catalog, Academic Plan and unofficial transcript).
Q. Which DCW should I use?
A. A student should use the DCW for the catalog year corresponding to the year in which his or her program began. (Students whose programs began prior to the 2009-2010 academic year should use the 09-10 worksheets.)
Q. When do I use a DCW?
A. Students should use a DCW 1) during the registration process, 2) any time they wish to know which requirements of their degree program they have completed and how many requirements they have left to complete and 3) before requesting a degree audit by the Registrar Office.
Students are required to submit a DCW as part of the graduation application process.
Q. How do I use a DCW?
A. Students should fill in the DCW for their particular program in consultation with 1) their unofficial transcript (in their self service account), 2) their Academic Plan (in their self service account) and 3) the program requirements in the seminary's catalog for the academic year corresponding to the year their program began.
