New Course Descriptions:

PTC 284 Elements of Biblical Change NOTE: for the 07-08 Academic Year only, this course will be used to

replace PTC 273. This workshop will explore a variety of essential elements in the counseling process: (1) preparing personally to counsel another; (2) building constructive, working relationships; (3) asking good questions and listening well in order to make a wise assessment; (4) communicating Christ’s grace and truth to various sorts of human need; (5) identifying turning points for change; and (6) developing case wisdom. Classroom time will combine lecture, discussion, video observation, and counseling practicum. Spring semester, three hours. Mr. Powlison
