Appeals MUST BE WRITTEN (either email or letter) and submitted to the Financial Aid Office.

Scholarships for U.S./Canadian Students

   1. MDiv Ministry Scholarship
 Type of Award: Up to 40% tuition scholarship.
 

Eligibility requirements: Full-time MDiv students who meet one of the following criteria:

  • Under the care of a NAPARC Presbytery (OPC, PCA, KAPC, RPCNA, ARPC, and RCUS) as a candidate for ordained ministry ("under care" status)
  • A current or former Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) intern
  • An American minority (African American, Hispanic-American, or Native American) student being developed for church leadership 
 Award period: One academic year only.  Award recipients must reapply each academic year.
 Award requirements: Maintain full-time status and minimum GPA of 2.5 throughout award period.

   2. General Scholarship
 Type of Award: Up to $1200 for academic year ($500-$600 for Fall and/or Spring)
 Eligibility requirements: Full-time students in any program of study.
 Award period: One academic year only.  Award recipients must reapply each academic year.
 Award requirements: Maintain full-time status and minimum GPA of 2.5 throughout award period.

Scholarships for International (non-Canadian) Students

   1. International Scholarship
 Type of Award: Tuition and Fees scholarship.
 Eligibility requirements: Full-time international (non-Canadian) student in the MDiv, MAR, and MA programs.
 Award period: One academic year only.  Award recipients must reapply each academic year.
 Award requirements: Maintain full-time status and minimum GPA of 2.5 throughout award period.

Scholarships for ThM/PhD Students

   1. ThM/PhD Scholarship
 Type of Award: Competitive, merit-based (not need based), full or partial-tuition scholarship.
 Eligibility requirements: Full-time student in ThM or PhD program.
 Award period: One academic year only.  Award recipients must reapply each academic year.
 Award requirements: Maintain full-time status and minimum GPA of 3.0 throughout award period.

Spouse Tuition Scholarship

   1. Spouse Tuition Scholarship
 Type of Award: Full-tuition scholarship.
 Eligibility requirements: Spouse of full-time student in the MDiv program, OR spouse of full-time student in other programs with the signed approval from both the VP of Academic Affairs and Director of Admissions.  Spouse scholarship applicants must be enrolled in any program at the MDiv level or lower (excluding Special Level 1 Master).
 Award period: One academic year only.  Award recipients must reapply each academic year.
 Award requirements: The full-time student must maintain full-time status.  The spouse must minimum GPA of 2.5 throughout award period.
