New World Reformed Fellowship President
Dr. P.J. (Flip) Buys
On March 23-27, Dr. Peter Lillback will travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to participate in the General Assembly of the World Reformed Fellowship (WRF). He will attend to celebrate the appointment of Dr. P.J. (Flip) Buys as the new president of WRF.
Dr. Buys visited Westminster in the Fall of 2014 and was interviewed by Dr. Lillback. Dr. Buys talked about his connection to Westminster, the value of theological education, and the importance of WRF.
This story is one of two Westminster Seminary alumni, father and son, David Brainerd Legters, Sr., and David Brainerd Legters, Jr., and of God’s unfolding an amazing ministry over three generations. This story comes to us by kindness of Wayne Brauning (M.Div. ’60, D.Min. ’93), who compiled and wrote in collaboration with Jean and Daniel Legters, David Brainerd Letgers, Jr.’s son, in February 2015.

Rev. Dr. Jonathan Gibson and the Very Rev. Dr. Stafford Carson
On February 3 and 4, Westminster welcomed two scholars and pastors from Northern Ireland. Rev. Dr. Jonathan Gibson gave a special lecture on Feb. 3, "God's Surprising Majesty," and the Very Rev. Dr. J. Stafford Carson gave the convocation address on Feb. 4, "The Task of Ministry."
