Fifth Annual Gaffin Lecture
Dr. D. A. Carson will be speaking at the fifth annual Gaffin Lecture on Theology, Culture, and Mission.
Dr. Carson, Research Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, will give a lecture entitled A Christological Title Often Overlooked, Sometimes Misconstrued, and Currently Disputed: Jesus, the Son of God. The lecture will be held in Rust Auditorium on Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at 10:30am.

New Book by Rev. Dr. Phil Ryken
Alumnus Rev. Dr. Phil Ryken (M.Div. '92), president of Wheaton College, has recently published a new book: Loving the Way Jesus Loves. "Most people are familiar with the "love chapter" of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13, yet expositor Phil Ryken has something new to say. Drawing on the earthly life and ministry of Jesus to illustrate Paul's several statements about what love is and isn't, Ryken brings a Christological approach to this commonly quoted passage."

Jomo K. Johnson (M.Div. '12), featured in the February 7 issue of, The Philadelphia Inquirer.
M.Div. student Jomo Johnson was featured in the February 7th issue of The Philadelphia Inquirer recently concerning his church and his book Deadest Rapper Alive: The Rise of Lil' Wayne and the Fall of Urban Youth. Jomo shows in his book that the life and lyrics of Lil' Wayne have been a focal point in the downfall of much of urban culture.
