Westminster Theological Seminary depends on the generous support of individuals, organizations, and churches to enable the seminary to serve Christ and His Kingdom by extending the knowledge of the glory of God in Christ until that knowledge "covers the earth as the waters cover the sea."
Supporting a seminary education which is avowedly Christian
What is avowedly Christian education?
In his book The Pattern of God’s Truth Dr. Frank E. Gaebelein comments on education which is avowedly Christian. “Christian education today has the one principle that can give learning a frame of reference spacious enough to comprehend all knowledge and dynamic enough to develop moral and spiritual maturity in the midst of a materialistic and violent age.”
Why does Westminster Theological Seminary exist?
“To extend the knowledge of the glory of God in Christ until that knowledge covers the earth as the waters cover the sea”
How do we accomplish our mission?
Westminster Theological Seminary strives to accomplish its mission by engaging and retaining outstanding professors, maintaining a reasonable professor-to-student ratio, offering rich academic programs, and demonstrating individual concern for the student population.
Why are gifts to the seminary necessary?
We are encouraged by the number of students who attend Westminster Theological Seminary. As many of our students receive some type of financial aid, you can understand the challenge the seminary faces each year. The Westminster Scholarship Fund invites you to be a part of meeting this challenge through your prayers and gifts. Your gift to the Westminster Scholarship Fund, and the Lord’s blessing, will help assure success.
What are some of the ways in which I can give?
