Join us on Wednesday, April 22, from 7:00-10:30pm in Van Til Hall to hear Carl Trueman (Westminster), Nathan Sasser (Sovereign Grace), and Jonathan Leeman (9Marks) discuss the importance of a biblical doctrine of the Church for the lives of ordinary Christians. This event is in celebration of a new printing of James Bannerman’s magisterial work The Church of Christ, soon available at Westminster Bookstore.
Dr. Carl Trueman has published a new book, Luther on the Christian Life: Cross and Freedom. This addition to Crossway's Theologians on the Christian Life series highlights the ways in which Luther's eventful life shaped his understanding of what it means to be a Christian.
This story is one of two Westminster alumni, father and son, David Brainerd Legters, Sr., and David Brainerd Legters, Jr., and of God’s unfolding an amazing ministry over three generations. This story comes to us by kindness of Wayne Brauning (M.Div. ’60, D.Min. ’93), who compiled and wrote in collaboration with Jean and Daniel Legters, David Brainerd Letgers, Jr.’s son, in February 2015.
