We have already enjoyed two fantastic Common Ground dinners – one in Dallas and one in Chattanooga. The fellowship has been terrific and the shared memories of our Westminster education rich. As one recent alum put it “I now have tools that enable me to study God’s Word. There is no way anyone can learn all of the Bible (especially during the brief 3-4 years at seminary) so I am really glad I wasn’t rushed through every book in the Bible and given the “definitive interpretation” on every passage or was told what to think about every book. I was taught HOW to think and study God’s Word so that now I can continue to study and learn after seminary – Thank you.”

Preaching Conference at WTS

The 2007 Institute on Biblical Preaching will be held at Westminster on October 23-24. Our keynote speaker Dr. Dan Doriani will speak on the theme, “Getting ‘The Story’ Right.” A special alumni reunion dinner for all WTS alumni will be held on Wednesday, October 24, with special recognition for the “xxx7” classes (2007, 1997, 1987, etc.).
