Westminster Seeks to Launch
Redeemer Theological Seminary
In its 80-year history, Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS) has sought to spread the knowledge of God across the earth as the waters cover the seas. With resolute purpose, we continue to hold Machen’s torch, “preparing specialists in the Bible.”
This vision for preparing and educating leaders for the Church of Jesus Christ in the Scriptures has enabled WTS to expand by means of satellite campuses from California to London. Through these efforts, WTS launched a satellite campus in 1980, producing Westminster Seminary California, a seminary which became independent in 1982.
And now, in 2008, Westminster Theological Seminary is pleased to report that it intends in 2009 to launch its satellite campus in Dallas, Texas, as Redeemer Theological Seminary.
We ask that you pray for Westminster Theological Seminary and Redeemer Theological Seminary, as Redeemer moves towards independence, and as we both seek to prepare the servants of Jesus Christ for His kingdom work.
