New Student Orientation is an essential and required first step to becoming integrated into the Westminster community. It is meant to orient students by providing essential policy and procedural information, introducing students to life at Westminster, and casting a vision for how students can make the most of a seminary education. Furthermore, it is of great benefit of incoming students, as it provides an introduction to Seminary personnel, as well as an opportunity to take care of administrative details and begin connecting with fellow classmates. New Student Orientation is therefore mandatory. If, because of extenuating circumstances, a student is not able to attend Orientation, special written permission must be obtained by the Dean of Students prior to Orientation. If a student neglects to obtain this special permission or fails to attend orientation, a $100.00 administrative fee will be charged to the student's account.
